Project 15 A Sense of Proportion

For thiis project I went with two analogous color schemes, playing around with different filters and layer styles. I then mixed up the color pallet with more primary colors, again trying out different layer styles.

Project 14 Tesselations

Project 13 Knotwork, Celtic design..

The video for this project went into the description of celtic knots. I am of Scottish heritage myself and have always thought the patterns were so amazing especially for a people who had an oral tradition and most of their messages were sent through their own form of semiotics.

Project 12 Fractals: a Glimpse of Infinity

I really enjoyed this project as it gave me a better understanding of how shapes can be formed into more complex patterns. I have created patterns in Photoshop in the past and this was a reminder of how it's important to keep them bound to their own spaces as close as possible.

Project 11 Letterforms as a design element, radial symmetry, repetition, four pieces

Project 10 Gradients for space, light, depth

Project 9 The Cropped Letterform

Once again I find myself surprised at how a simple letter can turn into an interesting design. In this case I started with an S and before I realized it I had created a wonderful pinwheel design.
